Kuno Meyer identifies the Conor of this poem as king of Tirkeeran near
Londonderry, circa 1096.

Conor the king
As little heeds
His wagons packed
  With Danish loot
As in the woods
In Autumn God
Heeds how He drops
  The golden fruit.
