North West Co. post on south side of Saskatchewan river about one mile below mouth of Turtle river and 4&fract12; miles above mouth of Jackfish (Pike) river, near town of Delmas in Tp. 46, R. 18, W. of 3^rd Meridian, Saskatchewan. A. Henry Jr. in 1808 passed old "Turtle fort" which stood in a low bottom on south bank. In 1800 Thompson found the post in ruins.
