North West Co. post on Pineimuta lake, between St. Martin's lake and lake Manitoba. The name is Indian for Partridge Crop and the North West Co. post was known by the French name "Fale Perdrix" as on their list of posts in 1820. It was located about 15 miles northeast of the Hudson's Bay Co. post Fairford [House (2)] (q.v.). It was discontinued after the coalition 1821 and does not appear on the H. B. Co. lists.
