French fortified King's Post in the Domain du Roy included in list of King's posts in the Decree of Intendant Hocquart 1733. Now known as Murray Bay named after General Murray of Seigniory of Malbaye (so called from the poor anchorage). Malbaye parish was originally part of King's Domain until 1762 when General Murray granted it to Major Nairn and Lieut. Fraser but restricting them from trading with the Indians.
