North West Co. post in basin of Columbia river, on east side of Kullyspell lake (lake Pend d'Oreille), 1&fract12; miles from mouth of river, 48°11'30"N. Built by Thompson 1809 and named by him. It stood on a point extending into lake Pend d'Oreille between Hope and Clarks Fort stations on Northern Pacific Railway. Was maintained for only a few years.
