The Hudson Bay Co. house adjoining the North West Co. house called Rocky Mountain House, on the North Saskatchewan river near mouth of Clearwater river. Name Acton House was give to distinguish it from the North West Co. house, but it was generally called Rocky Mountain House. Shown on Devine Map of North West Canada 1857 No. 12.
